Peanut Butter Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 dessert pie crust

Chocolate base

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (0.8)
  • 4 teaspoons Splenda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Filling

  • 4 oz. cream cheese (4)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (3.3)
  • 5 tablespoons peanut butter

Directions

  1. Put crust in freezer to make very hard.
  2. Melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate in the microwave. Stir in heavy cream, vanilla and Splenda. Pour over the pie crust and put in the freezer.
  3. Whip together the cream cheese, cream and peanut butter and spread over the pie.
  4. Keep refrigerated.

Notes

You may also freeze this tart and serve as a frozen treat. Allow to thaw about 10 minutes (depending on your preference) before serving.
